Maintenance window

Breakdown of service

When we experience a (considerable) breakdown of service, we will give you an overview of the impact and progress on this page.

Current Status

At this moment we do NOT experience any breakdown of service.

Default maintenance window

In order to keep our service for you and your students as stable as possible, we need to maintain our server park at a regular interval. To be able to successfully install (security) patches, updates and other relevant technical changes, we and our hosting provider need a default maintenance window. To reduce any inconvenience to you and your students, we have decided on a monthly maintenance window for non-critical and regular improvements to the systems.

Schedule 2019

The schedule below, gives you an overview of when the maintenance windows take place and what systems will be impacted.

Affected systems

  • All Netdimensions Talent Suite learning management environments.
  • All Totara learning management environments.
  • All Confluence wiki's
  • Lectora Online development platform

Impact

Since a restart will be necessary to complete the changes, your environment will temporarily not be online. This will take 5 to 10 minutes.

We would like to point out that this is only related to operating system changes. No changes will be made to your environment(s).

Extra maintenance window

It may be necessary to update a specific server or service outside the default maintenance windows. This can be the result of a critical update in order to guarantee the security of the server or the service, or simply to update your environment so you can make use of the latest functionality of the application. If this relates to a customer specific environment, we will notify the impact customer(s) and agree on such a maintenance window for all parties involved. If the entire server is impacted by the update, we will also mention this maintenance window on this page.

Freeze-window

During the freeze-window only necessary actions will be taken to keep the hosted environments operational. In other words, during this window no updates or upgrades will be performed.

Planning

The freeze-window for 2019 starts from Saturday 14th of december 2019 and ends after Monday 6th January 2020.
